Scopa Sweep

Privacy Policy

Effective 8 September 2026  ยท  Last updated 2 October 2026

Scopa Sweep is developed and published by Static Fire Games Pty Ltd, based in Adelaide, South Australia. This policy explains how the game handles information in the Google Play (Android), App Store (iPhone and iPad) and Steam (Windows) releases.

Scopa Sweep can be played offline. It has no separate game account, advertising, or analytics and tracking software. The Android and iOS releases store game data on your device. The Steam release also uses platform services, as explained below.

1. Information the game handles

The game saves your progress, achievements, gameplay statistics and settings on your device. These files let you continue a run, keep unlocked content and retain your preferences. Diagnostic logs may also be stored locally to record technical problems.

Android and iOS: the game does not send personal information, saved progress, gameplay statistics, diagnostic logs or device identifiers to Static Fire Games or third parties. It does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.

Steam: the game exchanges achievement information with Steam so that unlocked achievements are recorded against your Steam account. When Steam Cloud is enabled for the game, Steam uploads and downloads saved progress so you can continue playing across devices. These services are provided by Valve and involve data leaving your device.

2. App stores and sharing

Static Fire Games does not sell your personal information. The game shares information with Steam for the features described above; the Android and iOS releases do not share game data with third parties.

Google Play, the App Store and Steam also handle information when you use their stores and services, such as your store account and purchases. Their privacy policies explain how they use and protect that information:

3. Children's privacy

The Android and iOS games do not collect personal information from players, including children. The Steam features described above apply to players using those services. No release includes advertising or in-game messaging.

4. Keeping and deleting game data

Local saved data remains on your device until it is deleted or replaced as you play. Static Fire Games does not keep a separate copy of your saved game on its own servers.

On Android, you can remove local game data by clearing Scopa Sweep's storage in your device's app settings. This removes your progress and preferences. On iPhone and iPad, deleting Scopa Sweep removes its local data. On Windows, uninstalling the game may leave saved files behind; contact us if you need help locating and deleting them.

Deleting local files does not necessarily delete copies held in device backups or Steam Cloud. Depending on your backup and sync settings, saved data may be restored later. You can manage Steam Cloud in the game's Steam properties. For information about retention or deletion of data held by Google, Apple or Valve, including Steam achievements, see their privacy policies linked above.

There is no separate Scopa Sweep account to delete. You can contact us with questions about game data or requests concerning personal information held by Static Fire Games.

5. Security

The Android and iOS games keep their saved data in the app's storage on your device and do not transmit it. On Windows, saved files are stored in your user account's application data folder. Access to local files depends on your device and operating system security. Steam handles the transfer and storage of achievement and cloud-save data through its platform services.

6. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the game's data practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above. Changes that affect how the game handles information will be reflected here before they take effect.
